According to Variety, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) are wanted for the upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot. If cast they would star as members of the female private detective agency. Nyong’o is a great actress! But, personally, I don't get Stewart's appeal. I've never really been impressed by anything that she has done. If I had to choose the best movie that she's been in, it would have to be David Fincher's Panic Room.
Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect 2) is directing the film, and for some reason, she obviously sees something in Stewart that she wants in the movie. Stewart and Nyong'o aren't the only actresses that Banks and the studio are looking at for the film.
I'm sure the world is full of Kristen Stewart fans that would love to see her in this movie! If you're one of them, then maybe you'll have a Charlie's Angels film worth looking forward to. Her name attached to any film project, though, doesn't spark much excitement in me.
Ever since Snow White and The Huntsman came out, Stewart has mostly been staring in small little indie films. One of her most recent big projects is a film from Fox called Underwater, "which centers on a crew of underwater researchers scrambling with the fallout from an earthquake." As for Lupita Nyong’o, she will appear in Black Panther next.
What do you all think about the possibility of Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong’o joining the Charlie's Angels remake?
We don't really know yet if Marvel's Inhumans is going to be successful enough for the network to want to renew it for a second season, but chances are it's not going to happen. I'll be shocked if it does. Hell, even if the series actually ends up being great, the negativity behind it is already so bad that I don't think anything can save it at this point.
Regardless, showrunner Scott Buck is very optimistic about how things are coming along. He's so optimistic that he already has plans and ideas for Season 2. While talking to Collider, he explains:
"We have ideas. We know our starting point for Season 2, but we don’t know if there will be a Season 2. Hopefully, there will be a Season 2. If so, we know where we’re gonna start, and we’ll very gratefully gear up and get to work."
He even goes beyond that saying they have ideas that will go through at least three seasons!
"We generally know where the first three seasons could go. What’s fun about the show is that it will basically always be a show about family, so there’s always going to be places to take these characters."
Well, it's good to see the showrunner keeping a positive attitude about everything. Do you think there's a chance that Inhumans could crawl out of this dark pit that it's in and get renewed for a second season?
I guess if ratings are bad, Disney can always refuse to let ABC cancel it just like they did with Agents of SHIELD!
Now that James Cameron will be working with Deadpool's Tim Miller to get the Terminator franchise back on its feet with a new movie. Terminator fans are starting to hope for a good follow-up to Terminator 2: Judgement Day especially now that Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming back for this new Terminator entry along with Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Connor. Cameron says he lured Hamilton back into this science fiction world by saying that the new movie will remind the public what a badass action heroine Sarah is. Cameron recalled:
"Linda and I have a great relationship. We've stayed friends through the thick and thin of it all. And she is the mother of my eldest daughter. [They were married from 1997 to 1999.] So I called her up, and I said: 'Look, we could rest on our laurels. It's ours to lose, in a sense. We created this thing several decades ago. But, here's what can be really cool. You can come back and show everybody how it's done.' Because in my mind, it hasn't been done a whole lot since the way she did it back in '91."
Besides her voice being used in 2009's Terminator Salvation, Hamilton hasn't been involved with the Terminator franchise since Terminator 2, Cameron's final time directing in the franchise. Tim Miller, who is directing the new Terminator movie, told THR that he believes Sarah Connor appearing in this story will make a "huge fucking statement."
So now the plot line in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in which Sarah died of cancer in 1997 is being totally erased. No other story details are known for the next installment.
The new Terminator movie will be released in theaters on July 26, 2019.
Fox has released the first six minutes of the Bryan Singer-directed pilot episode of the upcoming X-Men-inspired series, The Gifted. The clip doesn't feature the main cast of characters that make up the Strucker family. However, the clip certainly sets the tone of the series and offers us a look at some familiar mutants, who are having a rough night as they are being hunted down by the police. The clip centers on the characters Blink (Jamie Chung), Polaris (Emma Dumont), Thunderbird (Blair Redford), and a new mutant created for the series named Eclipse (Sean Teale).
Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
The Gifted was developed by Matt Nix (Burn Notice) who wrote the series' pilot episode thatSinger directed. They are both producing the film alongside longtime X-Men movie producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg as well as Marvel TV head, Jeph Loeb.
The series has a great cast that includes Blair Redford, Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White, and Coby Bell.
will Rick or Morty die in the Season 3 finale of Rick And Morty? I wouldn't have even thought about it prior to this video, but now that I've watched, I think there could be some truth to this theory. Then again, I'm always one to think that Rick And Morty fans read way too far into the show's plot lines and that the show isn't striving for the level of show to show continuity that they think, but that's just me.
Check out the video below and let us know if you buy it, or you think it's just fans letting their imagination run wild.

Fox has released the first two photos from Chris Carter's The X-Files Season 11. The first photo looks like it's from a moment in one of the episodes that is set in the 1950s and it features three individuals in a room with an alien. The second photo shows Mulder (David Duchovny) sitting by Scully (Gillian Anderson) in a hospital bed. Things obviously aren't looking too good for her.
The photos come from EW, and Carter also offers some new information regarding the upcoming 10-episode season. One thing that he says is that that Mulder and Scully’s son William “will come to the fore” and that fans who are hoping to see them fix their relationship “have something to look forward to.”
The report goes on to offer us some insight into what we can expect from a few of the episodes in Season 11, revealing:
With more monster-of-the-week episodes this season (eight, in all), fans can expect season 11 to be united in theme but varied in tone. After episode one delves into the Cigarette Smoking Man’s (William B. Davis) backstory and apparent family ties to Mulder, the second hour opens with a time jump to put distance between Mulder and Scully and the events of the premiere. And episode three is a darkly comedic hour, penned by Carter, focusing on doubles and doppelgängers. But beyond the humor, the larger mythology of The X-Files — like the fallout from Scully’s abduction and the chip that was implanted in her neck — continues to shape Mulder and Scully’s world.
Carter also goes on to say that we’ll get a "new angle" on Mulder and Scully’s long-suffering FBI boss, Assistant Director Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and adds that, “Familiar alliances are rattled”.
Sounds like fans are in store for a great new season of the X-Files! I Can't wait!
The upcoming season also stars William B. Davis as the Cigarette Smoking Man; Annabeth Gish as Agent Reyes; Karin Konoval who also appeared as Mrs. Peacock in the episode “Home” from the original series run; Barbara Hershey joins the series as a character named Erika Price, described as“a powerful figure who represents a mysterious organization.”
