A new featurette for Solo: A Star Wars Story has been released and it's packed full of awesome new footage! The featurette includes the cast and crew talking about the film, specifically about the character Han Solo and his evolution. But, mixed in with that is a huge amount of footage that we've never seen before!
I enjoyed watching this featurette and the new footage that was shared definitely got me more excited about seeing the movie. It will be interesting to see how all of this fits in with the context of the story that will be told. Especially with the footage of Han as an Imperial foot soldier.

In case you want to know what film that Infinity War had to beat out, it was The Fate of the Furious, which made over $541 million globally on its opening weekend.
No, James Cameron, audiences will not be getting "Avengers Fatigue" any time soon. These Marvel movies are stronger and more popular now than they've ever been!
Actor Robert Downey Jr. took to Instagram to thank all the fan for their support. Check out the messages that he posted and let us know what you thought of Avengers: Infinity War!
CinemaCon has been happening in Las Vegas and it’s given us a lot of info on upcoming movies. One that came as a bit of a surprise is a tiny update on Sherlock Holmes 3. In an interview with CinemaBlend, producer Joel Silver was asked about the fate of the third film, to which he responded:
I’m so excited! I loved Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and I know many of you also enjoyed the first two films. A little over a month ago, Downey himself said that he wants to work on the film again. At this rate, my guess would be a 2020 release. Are you excited to hear about this update?
How well does the cast of Avengers: Infinity War know their Marvel villains? If you're Tom Hiddleston, quite well, but the others struggled quite a bit. Check out the video below, have a laugh, and see if you can guess the ones they were unable to in the video below:
Adam Savage lived a geek's dream life for 14 years getting to do some truly awesome things each and every day on Mythbusters, but as you'll learn, he kept things grounded. Savage said that when negotiations came up for the show when it became a success, his first request was to extend his shooting schedule so that he could make it home to his wife and kids for dinner by 6 p.m. every day. Listen to Savage respond to the question, and paint a picture for just how crazy his life was for a period of time below:
California is closer than ever than closing the case of the Golden State Killer, and as Patton Oswalt will tell you, that's in large part thanks to his late wife. For those out of the loop, Oswalt's wife was famed true-crime writer Michelle McNamara, who covered the work of the Golden State Killer extensively. Arresting officers didn't mention McNamara in their press conference, so Oswalt took it upon himself to inform the world that while law enforcement may not acknowledge it, it was McNamara that started this cycle of events. Listen to him tell the story below, and if you don't know about the Golden State Killer, check out her book I'll Be Gone In The Dark.
When you think of Rampage, you probably think of Dwayne Johnson or maybe Naomie Harris. You probably don’t think of Jason Liles who did the motion capture for the albino gorilla George. Liles has previously worked on Men in Black 3 and Death Note and it looks like his next project will be Godzilla 2, the sequel to the 2014 reboot Godzilla. TheWrap reports that he will be one of several motion-capture actors who will be working on bringing King Ghidorah to life. For those unfamiliar, King Ghidorah is an armless, three-headed, dragon-like monster.
The film will be directed by Michael Dougherty and it was written by Dougherty and Zach Shields. It will star Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, and Millie Bobby Brown who will play the family that the film centers around. O’Shea Jackson Jr., Thomas Middleditch, Zhang Ziyi, Bradley Whitford, Charles Dance, Aisha Hinds, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins will all be reprising their roles as Monarch agents.
Godzilla 2 will hit theaters March 22, 2019, and Godzilla vs. Kong is already slated for May 22, 2020.
Westworld Season 2 premiered recently, and with it came a new form of host the show had not previously revealed. These "drone hosts," as they're called, were essentially the same hosts found in the park, but without the personality or cosmetics that make them look human. I had assumed the moment from the premiere episode was the work of some impressive VFX, so imagine my surprise today when I see this video that tells me it's all an elaborately designed costume!
Check out the actors who bring these drone hosts to life, and the work that goes into creating such a haunting visual:
Outside of Loki, Marvel Cinematic Universe villains have all been pretty bland and generic. Or, they were, until Black Panther came out this February. Black Panther introduced us to Erik Killmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan) who was a very well-done villain. One that could potentially rival Loki. Screen Rant recently asked Loki himself (Tom Hiddleston) who his top three MCU villains were:
He is spot-on. I was just talking to a friend and we touched on the exact same points as Hiddleston. I know many still think Loki is the best, but I think we can all agree that Killmonger is definitely in the top 3 of all of our lists. Who are your top 3 villains from the MCU? I would probably choose Loki, Killmonger, and either Red Skull or Vulture.
Sometimes the old way of doing this is better than the modern, and this mouse trap video may just be proof. If you've ever had mice, you'll know the struggle of effectively killing each and every one to prevent more from popping up. I'm not saying this trap is the definitive way to get the job done, but I will say it looks like its pretty damn effective! Just a heads up before anyone watches this video, you're going to see mice get killed. If that bugs you, you probably shouldn't watch. Everyone else, enjoy!
