The Demo For The Game LEGO DC SUPER-VILLAINS Looks Amazing

Lego just released some demo footage for their upcoming DC game Lego DC Super-Villains, and I'm super excited to play this game. Those who have played a Lego game will understand, as these games are usually jam packed with fan service as well as some light-hearted platforming fun that kids as well as adults can enjoy. Check out the demo below, which shows a customizable character aiding Lex Luthor and other high-profile villains in a great escape:

Fan Goes Nuts Seeing Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in First Set Video from WONDER WOMAN 1984

We recently got our first set photos of Wonder Woman 1984, and now we have our first set video. The video was taken by a really excited fan as Patty Jenkins starts working with Chris Pine and Gal Gadot on the scene they’re working on. Pine spots the fan though and starts imitating her and she cannot contain her excitement anymore. I will admit, I probably would’ve reacted very similarly if I had been in her shoes and I am not ashamed. The question still remains of what on earth Pine is even doing there as he doesn’t look aged and his character from Wonder Woman seemingly died. My best guess is either a ghost or Hades. How would you have reacted to being noticed by Pine or anyone else on set?

The Director of ATLANTA and THIS IS AMERICA is Helming a New Sci-Fi Thriller Called MAN ALIVE

Hiro Murai, the director of Donald Glover's Atlanta and the recent hit music video for This Is America, is in talks to helm his first feature film. The film is a sci-fi thriller called Man Alive and it's set up at 20th Century Fox.

Man Alive covers the events following the invasion of earth by an alien species, when a man faced with isolation and loneliness in order to survive realizes he might not be alone after all.

Noah Hawley (Legion) is set to produce and the script for the film was originally written by Joe Greenberg and is currently going through a rewrite by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows).

Murai also has directed episodes of Bill Hader's fantastic HBO series Barry along with episodes of FX’s Legion and Snowfall

The guy has worked on some great TV series and it's cool to see that he's going to get a shot at directing a movie. I hope that it turns out great for him!

Check Out This Incredibly Cool GARGOYLES Fan Film

We recently learned that Jordan Peele had met with Disney and told them that he wanted to make a live-action Gargoyles movie. Fans of the classic animated series have been wanting to see Disney make this movie for years, but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

I don't know if Disney will ever make a live-action Gargoyles movie, but that isn't stopping the fans from envisioning what a film might look like. We have an impressive fan film here for you to watch created by Carlos Ferrer who says:

"I made this film as a fan of the original Gargoyles animated series for fans alike and newcomers who may not be familiar with the show - enjoy!"

He directed, animated, and scored the film and as you'll see, it actually turned out pretty awesome for a fan film. Check it out and tell us what you think!

More Cool New AQUAMAN Photos Show Patrick Wilson’s Orm Come Face to Face with Aquaman

We've got five new photos to share with you from director James Wan's Aquaman! They come from EW and one of the coolest images features our first look at Patrick Wilson's Orm coming face to face with Jason Mamoa's Aquaman. Orm is the half-brother King of Aquaman and he wants to declare war on the surface world.

The other images include Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna holding a young Arthur Curry. Amber Heard as Princess Mera is with Aquaman and they are embarking on a journey on the surface world. Then there's a behind-the-scenes shot of Wan directing the actors. That photo includes Aquaman’s mentor Vulko, who is played by Willem Dafoe. All you can see is the back of his head, though.

All of the actors shown here look great in the roles that they are playing in the film! Earlier we posted an Aquaman cover for EW along with a first look at Black Manta. You can check those out here. Check out the additional images below and let us know what you think! Do they get you excited for the movie?

Aquaman will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.

Aquaman is set to be released December 21, 2018. Hopefully, we get that first trailer soon!

New Trailer For The Ice Age Adventure Film ALPHA From Director Albert Hughes

Sony Pictures has released a new trailer and poster for their upcoming Ice Age adventure film Alpha. The film comes from director Albert Hughes, the co-director of films such as Menace II SocietyDead PresidentsFrom Hell and The Book of Eli, which was a solo directing gig.

I'm not sure about this movie. The trailers that have been released haven't done a very good job selling me on it. My kids want to see it, so maybe that's the film's market. Maybe it will end up being a decent watchable adventure movie, but I'm not expecting much.

The story is set in Europe 20,000 years ago during the Ice Age. "While on his first hunt with his tribe’s most elite group, a young man is injured and left for dead. Awakening to find himself broken and alone -- he must learn to survive and navigate the harsh and unforgiving wilderness. Reluctantly taming a lone wolf abandoned by its pack, the pair learn to rely on each other and become unlikely allies, enduring countless dangers and overwhelming odds in order to find their way home before the deadly winter arrives."

The young man's name is Zeta, and he's played by Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road, X-Men: Apocalypse). The full cast includes Natassia MaltheLeonor VarelaJóhannes Haukur JóhannessonMercedes de la Zerda, and Jens Hultén.

The movie is set to be released in theaters on August 17th. Will you be checking it out?

Death Wants Some Face Time in First Trailer For UNFRIENDED: DARK WEB

Remember that 2014 horror film Unfriended? Well, apparently there's a standalone sequel that's been made called Unfriended: Dark Web and the first trailer has been released for you to check out. The story unfolds in real time and it takes a group of friends down the rabbit hole of the dark web as they are terrorized by someone on the other end.

When a 20-something finds a cache of hidden files on his new laptop, he and his friends are unwittingly thrust into the depths of the dark web. They soon discover someone has been watching their every move and will go to the unimaginable lengths to protect the dark web.

The movie is described as being "the most terrifying horror yet from the producer of Get Out, Happy Death Day, The Purge, and the makers of Unfriended." It looks like an interesting story, but "terrifying"? We'll see. The movie is sure to include some disturbing content, but I'm not entirely sold on this whole gimmick of telling a story through the screens of computers and phones. I'll give this one a shot, though.

The movie was written and directed by Stephen Susco (The Grudge) and it's produced by Timur Bekmambetov and Jason Blum. The film stars Betty Gabriel, Andrew Lees, Colin Woodell, and Connor Del Rio.

Unfriended: Dark Web will be released in theaters on July 20th, 2018.

First Look at Black Manta in AQUAMAN and Jason Mamoa, Nicole Kidman and Amber Heard Grace The Cover of EW

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we have our first look at Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as David Kane a.k.a. Black Manta. As you can see he's working on his suit's helmet, which is straight-out-of-the-comics accurate. If you're familiar with the comics, you know that the helmet blasts red plasma beams from its eyes.

I also included a cover of EW featuring Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna and Amber Heard as Princess Mera.

When talking about Black Manta, director James Wan says, “He’s part mercenary but full-time pirate who in his suit will look like some crazy alien from outer space."

Manta is not the main villain in the film. King Orm (Patrick Wilson), Aquaman’s ambitious half-brother who governs Atlantis is. But Manta's story arc is expected to play out through future Aquaman films. Wan adds:

"Black Manta is a really interesting character who is somehow factored into this story but our main story is about Jason and Patrick."

When talking about the film as a whole, and how it's different from the previous DC films, the director said:

"The water world my movie takes place in is so separate and so far apart from previous DC movies it’s like I’m making my own sci-fi fantasy film. This is a whole new underwater world nobody has seen before in live action.

Producer Peter Safran then talked about Jason Momoa in the role of Aquaman, saying:

"Rarely has a superhero character been married to the real-life actor as much as Aquaman and Jason Momoa. He’s authentically from two worlds, he’s this real physical specimen, he’s got this humor which he’s never been allowed to play before — in every regard he is Aquaman."

I didn't like the idea of Momoa in the role of Aquaman initially, but it's kinda grown on me. The movie also stars Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Ludi Lin as Murk, and Michael Beach as Jesse Kane.

Aquaman will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface.

Aquaman is set to be released December 21, 2018. Hopefully we get that first trailer soon!

Two New Trailers for BLEACH Finally Show Us Chad, Orihime, Urahara, and More!

I have no reservations left about Bleach. I think this movie is going to kick major butt! We have two new trailers today that show us Isshin, Masaki, Urahara, Chad, and Orihime, and the trailers look more and more awesome.

It appears that they have changed some things, but I feel that’s only natural. For instance, it looks like the showdown between Ichigo and Renji and Byakuya will take place during the day. Also, there’s still nothing on Yuzu or Karin (Ichigo’s sisters), but they’re probably the easiest ones to remove from the equation if you can’t put everyone in.

I need a western release of this movie! Come on Warner Bros. Bleach will be in theaters in Japan on July 20, 2018.
