Some future covers for Go Go Power Rangers have taken the internet by storm since Power Morphicon. It looks like some crazy things are happening when Shattered Grid ends as the cover for GGPR #16 shows the Rangers with their weapons drawn, but everyone is in different colors. Trini and Jason have swapped, so she is now the Red Ranger and he is the Yellow Ranger, and the other Rangers are no different. Zack is now Pink, Kimberly is Blue, and Billy is Black.
Issue 16 doesn’t have the only interesting cover though as the cover for #15 shows Trini and Jason making out with a heart-shaped something behind them. Of course, if you’ve read GGPR from the beginning, you realize this isn’t a huge surprise as it is revealed early on that Trini has a huge crush on Jason.
My big question is, what leads to this? I actually really like this idea of swapping everyone’s powers/colors, I just want to know the story behind it at this point and can’t wait for GGPR #14! If these covers aren’t enough, IGN also reports that at the Power Morphicon panel that debuted these comics, “it was teased that this story will sow the seeds for the iconic “Green With Evil” story arc, showing how Rita Repulsa first obtained the Green Power Coin.” I want them now!
Microsoft revealed today that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is on its way to Xbox Game Pass, the console’s monthly subscription service.
The Master Chief Collection is comprised of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. The best thing about this news is that Halo 5: Guardians, Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2, and Halo: Spartan Assault are already available in Game Pass, which means that almost every Halo game in existence will be available in Xbox Pass soon.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to launch on Xbox Pass on September 1, and Microsoft revealed via Xbox Wire, a few enhancements that will come along with the game such as “improved matchmaking, offline LAN, customizable installation options, and faster load times.”
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is on its way to Xbox Game Pass in September.
Deadpool 2 is currently available to purchase to watch at home whenever you want. As you continue to watch the film over and over again, there are a lot of Easter eggs packed into it for the fans to keep a look out for. In fact, we have a new featurette for you to watch today that completely centers around the creation of the Easter eggs for the film and they challenge the fans to try and find them all. They say there are so many of them, though, that they don't think anyone will be able to find them all. Will you take on the challenge?
Natalie Portman set to direct and star in a new film based on dueling advice columnists and twin sisters Esther and Pauline Friedman. Portman will take on dual roles as she will play the twin sisters in the film.
The two writers were behind the Ann Landers and Dear Abby columns. According to Variety, the sisters had "a bitter professional rivalry but led personal lives that were equal parts competitive, jealous, successful and loving."
This is kind of a fascinating story that I was never really familiar with. This seems like it would be a solid project for Portman and the fact that she's involved with it is a main selling point for me. What can I say? I'm a fan! She made her directorial debut with 2015 Israeli drama A Tale of Love and Darkness. This will be her second directing project.
The script for the film is being written by Katie Robbins, who is currently a writer and producer on the Showtime series, The Affair.
After exploring the option of renewing The Big Bang Theory for a thirteenth season, CBS opted to close out the series after Season 12. It was bound to happen! In my opinion, the show has been feeling a little stale for a while, so I'm ok with it coming to an end. Hopefully, they end the series with a bang! Pun intended.
After Season 12 the series will have 279 episodes under its belt making it the longest-running multi-camera series in television history. WBTV, CBS and Chuck Lorre Productions had this to say in a joint statement:
“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close."
The final season of The Big Bang Theory will debut Monday, September 24th on CBS before moving to its regular time period on Thursday, September 27th.
The series stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch.
Are you happy or sad to hear that the series is coming to an end?
If you're excited about Shane Black's The Predator, I've got a series of new photos from the film to share with you today featuring the alien hunter, the Ultimate Predator, and a few of the human characters that will be facing off against them. There's no doubt that death awaits many of these characters as they go to war with these deadly alien hunters.
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
The movie stars Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Logan), Thomas Jane (The Punisher), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight), Jacob Tremblay (Room), Yvonne Strahovski (Dexter), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Sterling K. Brown (The People vs. O.J. Simpson, This is Us), Keegan-Michael Key, and Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica).
Black co-wrote the script with his Monster Squad co-writer Fred Dekker, and it will be released in theaters on September 14, 2018.
Death Note fans may not have liked Adam Winger's live-action Death Note film, but that isn't going to stop Netflix from making a sequel! THR is reporting that the streaming service is currently developing a sequel with a script being written by Greg Russo (Mortal Kombat reboot).
There's no word on if Winger will be back to direct the sequel or if Nat Wolf or any of the other actors will return to reprise their roles.
The first film centered around a high school student named Light Turner who discovers a mysterious notebook that has the power to kill anyone whose name is written within its pages, and launches a secret crusade to rid the world of criminals. We don't have any details on what the story for the sequel will entail, but I imagine it will follow the further adventures of Light Turner and the book of death.
The first film definitely had some problems, but there were aspects of it that I liked. So, I'd be up for watching a sequel. Who knows, maybe it will be better than the first film.
What do you think about Netflix developing a Death Note sequel?
A few days ago, Blizzard finally announced that Diablo III Eternal Collection will be heading to the Nintendo Switch. Now, it has been confirmed that the physical version of the game will not require any additional downloads to play.
In a statement by Blizzard, via Nintendo News, the developer confirmed that “all of the content fits on a cartridge so you can buy a physical copy without requiring any downloads.”
Ever since the launch of the Nintendo Switch, a few physical releases of games required players to download additional content to play. When Capcom released Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 for the Switch, only the first game was included in the physical cartridge and players were given a code to download the second game.
It’s definitely good to hear that buying the physical version would actually give you the whole game and won’t require any additional downloads to play. As of now, Blizzard is still yet to announce the release date for the game on the Nintendo Switch.
Having grown up on the wonderfully horrific Alvin Schwartz book series, Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark, I'm extremely interested to see how this upcoming film adaptation turns out. The fact that Guillermo del Toro is involved with the development gives me hope that it will be as good as it should be.
Today Del Toro has confirmed that production on the film will start in a few days!
The story is said to follow "a group of young teens who must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town."
One thing that I really hope to see in this movie is those creepy-ass visuals from the book being brought to life. Those things gave me nightmares when I was growing up! It will be interesting to see how they handle these stories in the film. I have high hopes for this one.
The movie will be directed by André Øvredal (Troll Hunter, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) from a script co-written by del Toro, Daniel Hageman, and Kevin Hageman. Steve Bertram, eOne’s President, Film, Television and Digital had this to say in a previous statement:
"(The film), led by the incomparable Guillermo del Toro, is such a chillingly fun ride that it’s sure to leave audiences around the world jumping in their seats. We’re thrilled to be joining Terry Press and her team at CBS Films, Guillermo, André Øvredal, and the talented group they’ve assembled, and look forward to launching in Cannes through our partners at Sierra/Affinity."
The movie will shoot in Toronto and Ontario. CBS Films will distribute the film in the US through Lionsgate.

The CW is hyped for the addition of Batwoman (Ruby Rose) to its universe, and they're bringing the hero into the fold in a three-night event! Those wondering when we're going to see the hero in action need wonder no longer as it appears the whole thing kicks off beginning December 9th and you can check out the first poster for it below. It features Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin), Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), and Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) ready to take on whatever threat awaits them. The Bat-signal in the background of the poster is a nice touch!
I'm pumped for this, and truth be told, I'm thinking about using these last few weeks before fall season officially kicks off to catch up on Arrow. I've heard good things about this latest season, and Colton Haynes coming back as a series regular has me intrigued! Anyone else excited for this crossover event?
