Sinemia Has a New Plan to Rival MoviePass

Up until earlier this week, MoviePass’ competitor Sinemia had 3 plans. One film a month for $3.99, two for $7.99 or $9.99 depending on if you want 3D and IMAX, or 3 movies (including 3D and IMAX) for $14.99. Meanwhile, MoviePass’ latest iteration offered 3 movies a month for only $9.99 (not including 3D and IMAX).

Well, Sinemia has decided to even the playing field by introducing their own 3-movie plan for only $9.99. Like MoviePass, this new plan does not include 3D or IMAX films and it fits right in with all of their other plans.

Unlike MoviePass, though, you’ll get a$25 gift card to if you sign up with Sinemia. The big downside to Sinemia, in my opinion is that you either have to pay annually or an initiation fee of $20.

Check Out This Fictional Japanese City Made In MINECRAFT

Ever since the release of Minecraft seven years ago, players from young kids to full-grown adults have been incredibly creative in customizing the game’s world. However, nothing beats this realistic creation of Sayama City, which is a fictional Japanese city made entirely in the game.

At first glance, images of Sayama City can easily fool people that they are looking at actual real-life photos, which goes to show how detailed and realistic this Minecraft city is. The images were uploaded by a Twitter account named Sayama_City (via Kotaku), which has been uploading pictures of the project since 2015. Given all the attention that the fictional city is getting right now, it is expected that the creators of Sayama will upload more updates soon.

Check out the images of the project below by Twitter user Sayama_City:

BLACK ADAM Producer Offers an Update on The Film and Says “Definitely Happening”

It has been awhile since we heard anything about Black Adam, but Collider caught up with producer Hiram Garcia and got some information out of him. Garcia says the film is still happening and the script is being worked on. He also explains that Black Adam is getting a separate film from Shazam! so as to not compromise either of the characters and give them plenty of room to breathe before pitting them against each other.

Black Adam is definitely happening. We’re actually very deep into a script on it right now, which is coming along really well. I’m really excited with the story we’ve crafted. Look, I’ve always been a huge comic book fan. I’ve always had this dream, I’ve always wanted to—You know, you kind of have like these goals of like, ‘One day I’d love to be able to do this and this,’ and making a superhero movie was definitely always one of my dreams. For the longest time, you know you kind of have this living superhero in Dwayne Johnson, so I was always trying to figure out what’s the perfect character that will kind of fit him and his look and his build and his kind of edge and the attitude he’s got.

You should check out the entire interview for more goodies, but are you excited for Black Adam, whenever it comes out?

Check Out The Custom Built 1967 “Steve Rogers” Camaro RS That Robert Downey Jr. Gave to Chris Evans as a Gift

When you make a shit-ton of money from making Marvel movies over the past ten years, you can buy and do all kinds of cool stuff! Robert Downey Jr. happened to share his love of cars with his MCU co-star Chris Evans by having a custom made 1967 Camaro RS built for him, because that's what friends are for! The car is said to have a "Steve Rogers" Special Edition look and now Evans is definitely a car guy.

David Salvaggio calls the color of the car a "melted army man green" with a distressed brown leather interior that is reminiscent of the leather jacket Steve Rogers wore while fighting Hydra in World War II.

Evans' car will be featured on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage, and SpeedKore vice president, David Salvaggio, who worked closely with Downey on rebuilding the car, revealed details about the badass ride. He says:

We've done three cars for Robert. This was actually the first one. And the whole goal of this vehicle was to give it to Chris Evans as a gift in the end.

You can watch Salvaggio show off the car to Jay Leno ahead of the next episode of Jay Leno's Garage below. Apparently, in the upcoming episode of Jay Leno's Garage, Evans will learn a little stunt driving in a car and do an "epic" burnout. The episode will air tonight on August 30th, at 10pm.

I wouldn't mind Robert Downey Jr. building me a custom car as a gift! Check out the car in action below!

EA Pledges $1 Million Donation To Victims Following Jacksonville Shooting

EA has pledged to help the victims following the shooting at last Sunday's Madden NFL tournament in Jacksonville, Florida, and they're hoping the gaming community pulls together to do the same. The company has set up the "Jacksonville Tribute," which is a fund designed to help the families affected by the Jacksonville shooting and has pledged a massive $1 million to kick things off. Fans will be encouraged to donate to the cause to help the families of the two pro players slain in the shooting, Taylor Robertson and Elijah Clayton, as well as the 10 others who sustained injury following the event.

Amazon Studios is Trying to Partner with Major Hollywood Studios To Make Movies

It looks like Amazon Studios is trying to get more people to use their streaming service. Deadline reports that Amazon is attempting to get major studios like Paramount and Sony to make films for their streaming service. This would not be too different from Netflix getting Paramount to make The Cloverfield Paradox.

While getting more original content is always a great move, I feel like it doesn’t help Amazon. Amazon’s streaming service is not the best in my opinion and the content isn’t the problem. Like all other streaming services, Amazon has some great content available and some rubbish content available. However, the interface is always garbage which makes me almost never use it even though I have Prime. I would rather hear that Amazon is working on improving their interface than making more content.

Are you excited about the prospect of Amazon teaming up with a major studio? Would that get you to use the service?

THE FOREST Is Heading To The PS4 In November

gt-the-forest-00 (1).jpg

Yesterday, developer Endnight Games was happy to announce the official release date for The Forest, an open-world survival video game that was initially released to the PC last April.

The Forest puts players in the shoes of a father on a mission to look for his lost son after both survived a plane crash. The game will feature a non-linear story allowing players to explore the game’s environment at their own pace.

Players will be given complete autonomy as the game won’t include hints or objectives allowing players to strategize their survival on their own. Moreover, the game’s environment will be highly-interactive as gamers will be able to chop down trees, hunt for food, and craft items to ensure their survival. A building system is also in place for players to put up shelters such as tree houses and whatnot.

Endnight Games initially planned the game to be a single-player experience. However, after initial feedback from fans, the game will feature a multiplayer co-op mode that allows up to four players to team up and find the lost kid.

The Forest is already available on the Windows PC with the PlayStation 4 version launching on November 6. A playable version of the PS4 release will also be available to participants attending PAX West.

The CW has released a new promo spot for the upcoming seasons of The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning. There's fresh footage featured from each of the shows that are premiering in the fall. That includes our first footage of Barry Allen in action while sporting his new costume.

There's a lot of great stuff to look forward to seeing in the upcoming seasons of these DC shows and I'm pretty excited to see where the stories go. Especially with The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl. These shows are done incredibly well and they have a loyal fan base that stands by them.

What DC show are you most excited about seeing return?

The Same Actor Quentin Tarantino Cast as Charles Manson is Also Playing Manson in MINDHUNTER Season 2

It seems like actor Damon Herriman (Justified) is Hollywood's go to guy for Charles Manson. It was recently announced that he would be playing the cult leader in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Now we've learned that Herriman is also playing Manson in the second season of David Fincher's serial killer drama Mindhunter.

The news from Collider, who explains that Herriman was actually cast in Mindhunter first and that he already shot his scenes in July. The fact that he's been cast back to back in these projects tells us his take on Manson must be pretty impressive.

Inside sources say that "while Herriman will appear as a 1969-era Manson in the Tarantino film, his appearance in Mindhunter will be in the ’80s, when Manson was already behind bars. That lines up with previous reports that the second season will feature the Atlanta Child Murders, which took place between 1979 and 1981. Other serial killers expected to appear include the Son of Sam and, of course, the BTK Killer, who popped up throughout the first season, though he was never mentioned by name."

Netflix's Mindhunter is an incredible series! The first season completely floored me and I can't wait for Season 2! If you haven't watched this series yet, you really need to check it out.

There’s no premiere date yet for Mindhunter Season 2 yet, so we don't know if we will see Herriman as Manson before Once Upon a Time in Hollywood opens on July 26, 2019.

TOP GUN: MAVERICK Gets Pushed To 2020 and A QUIET PLACE Sequel Gets a Release Date

The highly anticipated sequel to A Quiet Place has been given a release date of May 15th, 2020. In addition, Paramount has pushed the release date of Top Gun 2 back from July 12th, 2019, to June 26th, 2020. That's almost a whole year! Not much is known about the sequel to A Quiet Place, but Top Gun: Maverick will feature Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reprising their roles from the 1986 film.

It will also feature the talent of Glen Powell, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Lewis Pullman, Thomasin McKenzie, Charles Parnell, Jay Ellis, Bashir Salahuddin, Danny Ramirez, and Monica Barbaro with Joseph Kosinski serving as director.

The script will be written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, and Eric Warren Singer. The sequel takes place with Maverick (Cruise) as a Top Gun flight instructor and it will explore the antagonistic relationship between Maverick and Goose's son (Teller), who isn't very happy with Maverick and the role he played in his dad's death.
