The Epic Thanos Vs. Avengers Titan Fight Scene From INFINITY WAR Recreated in 16-Bit

the-big-thanos-vs-avengers-titan-fight-scene-from-infinity-war-recreated-in-16-bit-social.jpg

One of the most thrilling and intense fight scenes in Avengers: Infinity War is when the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy were battling Thanos on the planet Titan. They were so close to getting the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos! But, it wasn't meant to be, Thanos had to win.

That full fight sequence can now be watched in 16-bit glory thanks to Mr. Sunday Movies. The video turned out pretty awesome and it also comes along with a side-by-side comparison with the actual scene from the film.

It's fun to watch this scene play out in the vintage 16-bit video game style!

Renee Zellweger is Set to Star in a New Netflix Series From Robert Zemeckis Called WHAT/IF

Renee Zellweger has landed the lead role in an interesting new series coming to Netflix called What/If. According to Deadline, the series explores "the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life." Here are some additional details on the character that Zellweger will be playing:

The 10-episode first season focuses on two struggling newlyweds who accept a powerful woman’s (Zellweger) ethically perilous proposition to secure a badly needed financial windfall.
Zellweger’s Anne is a shrewd and mercurial San Francisco venture capitalist. She is magnetically charismatic, seductive, charming, even vulnerable when it serves her purpose. But she’s also a virtuoso of deception with a cauldron of destructive secrets, including a deeply buried metaphorical deal with the devil that set the course for her life back when she was still just a girl herself.

The series was created by writer and showrunner Mike Kelley (Revenge) and director Robert Zemeckis is also an executive producer on the series. The show has been given a 10-episode series order and with Netflix's great track record for producing good series, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Zellweger hasn't really been doing much lately, so it's good to see her land a big role in a series like this. It should be a great project for her.

Marvel Studios is Reportedly Going To Shoot an Unannounced Phase 4 Film in The UK Next Year

By now, we all know that Marvel Studios has a plan set in place for their Phase 4 films and that they are currently deep in the planning and development stages for them. We just don't know what all of those movies are! There's been a lot of talk and speculation about what those film could be the only two we know are coming for sure are Spider-Man: Far From Home and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Now a new report has surfaced from GWW that indicates that Marvel Studios is looking to shoot a yet to be announced film in the UK in June of 2019. That outlet lists three possibilities... The Eternals, Black Widow, and Doctor Strange 2.

Doctor Strange 2 might be the likely candidate as a separate report from The Mirror is saying that Benedict Cumberbatch is getting a major pay raise to return to the role and they indicate that the film shooting next year.

It could also be Black Widow, due to the fact that the film already has a director attached. That director is Cate Shortland and Scarlett Johansson is set to reprise her role.

As for The Eternals, that's the least likely project as the project just recently entered the writing phase with screenwriters Matthew and Ryan Firpo

With all these films in various stages of development, none of them have been officially greenlit or announced by the studio yet. I imagine that there's probably going to be two or three Marvel films go into production throughout next year. It'll be interesting to see what those movies will be. Marvel has no plans on revealing their Phase 4 slate of films until after Avengers 4 is released as to avoid spoilers.

We most likely won't get an official announcement until Comic-Con next year, so we've got a long time to wait.

Dragon and Robot Sharks Are Revealed in Full Trailer For THE LAST SHARKNADO: IT’S ABOUT TIME

dragon-sharks-are-revealed-in-final-trailer-for-the-last-sharknado-its-about-time-social.jpg

SyFy has released the full trailer for The Last Sharknado: It's About Time and it looks more absurd than you could ever imagine. This next film takes the story through multiple time periods throughout the history of the world and in the process, there are all kinds of sharks to fight! That includes dragon sharks from the medieval times and robot sharks from the future. Then we get to see a shark fight a T-Rex, a shark bite off some dude's arm in the wild west, and Benjermin Franklin punch a shark. Just wait until you see what the human population looks like in the future. This is so stupid...

Our hero Fin (Ian Ziering) has battled sharks all over the globe, but in this last installment he will tackle the final shark-tier -- time travel. In the ending moments of SHARKNADO 5: GLOBAL SWARMING, Fin was seen wandering alone on Earth after it was destroyed. Now he must travel back in time to stop the Sharknado that started it all. Will Fin and the gang be able to set everything right and save the world once and for all? A production of The Asylum, THE LAST SHARKNADO: IT’S ABOUT TIME is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, based on an original screenplay by Scotty Mullen.

The film will also star Tara Reid, Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, La Toya Jackson, Dee Snider, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Alaska and Darrell Hammond.

The Last Sharknado: It's About Time will be released tonight on August 19th.

Kerry Washington Set to Star in Hulu Adaptation of OLD CITY BLUES

old_city_blues.jpg

Kerry Washington may already be signed to star alongside Reese Witherspoon for Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, but that’s not stopping her from signing on for another Hulu project. THR is reporting that Washington has agreed to star in Hulu’s adaptation of Old City Blues. Old City Blues is a graphic novel from Giannis Milonogiannis and it has been adapted by Arash Amel for Hulu. Gore Verbinski is even set to direct the project as well, granted it moves forward.

The year is 2048. Southeastern Europe. Built on the ruins of the country once known as Greece, New Athens is a city crawling with life — low-life, that is. From mech smugglers and drug dealers, to corrupt politicians and all-too-powerful corporations, the city is at the mercy of high-tech criminals. And it’s up to Solano, Thermidor, and the rest of the New Athens Special Police to keep the city in order. When the cybernetically augmented founder of a tech corporation called Hayashi is found murdered, it seems to be just another case of cyborg persecution. But Hayashi Corporation’s strange response to the incident raises suspicion in Solano and the Special Police. The mystery they unravel will lead them straight into the wasteland of the Old City.

Washington’s role has not been revealed yet, but the premise of the project sounds awesome. If you’ll excuse me, I gotta go read some graphic novels.

Watch: Man Performs Smash Mouth’s “All-Star” To Soviet Union National Anthem

About a year ago a guy burst onto the YouTube scene with his unique talent of turning any song into a rendition of Smash Mouth's hit "All-Star." Well, he's still at it, and with this latest Soviet Nation Anthem, I think he's officially running out of ideas. Side note, I'm no Commie or anything, but the Soviet's had a pretty awesome national anthem back in the day. Listen to it below once you get through this humorous video:

Amazon Studios Is Looking Into Acquiring Landmark Theaters

Amazon got into the movie production business just a few years ago, and now it's looking to expand its reach in the industry with a very interesting acquisition. The company is thinking of acquiring the Mark Cuban backed Landmark Cinemas after the Department of Justice announced it would be re-evaluating laws that prevent film studios from acquiring brick and mortal theater chains.

As of now, nothing official has been announced, but one has to wonder how this will affect the film industry going forward if major companies start running theater chains. Are we about to see the next major shift in cinema?!

Gucci Is Selling A Ridiculously Overpriced Paramount T-Shirt

paramoun.jpg

Are you super rich and want the wardrobe of a fifty-something former studio rep? Gucci has just the product for you then as it and Nordstrom just rolled out an obscenely priced over-sized t-shirt with the Paramount logo on it. This shirt, which Slashfilm first caught our attention with, costs a whopping $590.00, and the only reason I can imagine why is that Gucci logo slung across the back of the shirt.

Now, I know a lot of high-end fashion is overpriced, but at least sometimes I can understand the cool designs and why someone might pay that type of money for it. This, however, is literally someone's pajama shirt with a Gucci logo on the back. I don't understand it, and have to imagine this is just some marketing stunt or bizarre misstep to make a new trend. Check out more pictures of the shirt below, and if you're gonna buy it click here

Check Out This Great Interview With The Spanish Voice Actor For Homer Simpson

check-out-this-great-interview-with-the-spanish-voice-actor-for-homer-simpson-social.jpg

Before we get any further in this article, I want to make one thing clear. I do not think The Simpsons is funnier in Spanish, and Dan Castellaneta is my definitive voice for Homer Simpson. That said, I've always found it fascinating that such an iconic show may be completely different for another audience, and guys like Humberto Vélez have become THE voice of Homer despite the fact that he isn't the original.

For that reason, and because he's a great interview, I'm sharing this video. Vélez may not be my Homer, but he's definitely one of the best guys voicing the character out there! Check out the video below and see if you agree:
