He is joined by Ronda Rousey, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais and John Malkovich as a team of government intelligence agents on a mission to extract an ex-cop with some very valuable information. But is Mile 22 worth rushing to the theater to see?
In general it seems that Netflix originals are mostly disappointing, but one genre the streaming service seems to get right is the romantic comedy. In To All The Boys I've Loved Before we meet a High School Junior struggling with the usual teenaged angst and insecurity who is thrust into more drama when some secret love notes she wrote find their way to 5 different boys. But is this one worth an hour and half of your time?
We've seen plenty of killer fish in film, but The Meg takes everything we're used to and super sizes it. Jason Statham is already known for his highly popular second-tier action film portfolio, but this time he proves size doesn't matter as he takes on the biggest shark we've seen in any blockbuster. But is The Meg worth your time or is it giant dud.
Just when you thought you've seen it all, the Netflix original comedy The Package comes along and puts a whole different spin on the term "lost package." From the minds behind Workaholics and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates comes this latest Netflix original comedy about a group of teens who try to reunite one of their friends with his lost "manhood" after a camping accident with a knife. But does this raunchy teen romp bring good laughs or more cringe?
Dwayne Johnson not only has one of the biggest physiques in Hollywood, he apparently also has one of the biggest hearts to go with it. Johnson paid it forward to his long-time stuntman and cousin Tanoai Reed by buying him a decked out pick-up truck.
In a recent instagram post, Johnson posted a video showing the reveal(below) and thanked his long time stunt partner for all the blood he's spilled and bones he's broken over the years of being his stunt double.
"SURPRISE! I love handing over keys🔑🎁 I love you brother and enjoy your new truck! Over the course of my career, my stunt double (and cousin) Tanoai Reed @samoanstuntman has broken multiple bones, severed tendons, torn ligaments & just been an overall dominating bad ass achieving several “Stuntman of the Year” honors. All done with one goal in mind - deliver the best movie possible to the world. I had this custom pick up truck delivered just in time to surprise him (he’s still recovering from a stunt injury) while we give what he thought was going to be an interview about our careers together. As you’ll see the moment I put my hands on my hips, that’s the drivers cue to pull away and reveal the big surprise. Not only does Tanoai represent our family and my career with relentless commitment and passion. He also represents an entire Hollywood stunt community that is truly the backbone of our business. Love you uso and thank you for the blood, sweat, tears and years. We’re just getting started. Enjoy your new truck! #LetsRoll 🤟🏾"
Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon team up in the brutally violent comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me. The film follows two girlfriends that are unexpectedly pulled into an international conspiracy surrounding one of their ex boyfriends. But can these BFFs survive in this deadly spy game?
By now everyone knows that Tom Cruise isn't afraid to do his own stunts in his movies, even if they put his life at risk. That includes his latest chapter in the Mission: Impossible franchise. Cruise literally put his life and limb at risk in all of the stunts he performed in Mission: Impossible - Fallout, even breaking one of his legs during one of those dangerous stunts. It's clear he's not afraid to make the Impossible, possible. And that's exactly what he did for 2,000 lucky people in Norway.
Cruise hosted a special screening at the top of Preikestolen, a very popular cliff in Norway that draws thousands of tourists every year and has a nearly 2,000-foot drop all the way down to jagged rocks down below. On his social media accounts, Cruise posted this incredible photo that shows a large crowd of people huddled under a movie screen at the top of a cliff that looks like its straight out of The Lord of the Rings. I just so happens to be that this is the very same cliff that Cruise fights the main villain in the final scene of Fallout.
But if you're bummed you missed out on such an incredible cinematic experience you should know that everyone had to hike for 4 hours before they could even watch the movie. You can see Cruise's post below.
